East Bay funksters Tower of Power scored gold with their third release which featured new soul singer Lenny Williams singing smoothly on the Top 20 single "So Very Hard To Go" and going balls out on the horn laden "What is Hip?". Also new to the band was future Saturday Night Live sax player , Lenny Pickett who had just turned 18. This is a great 70's soundtrack to a sunny Summer day .These Bump City masters of the "Oakland Stroke" are still going strong today. If T.O.P plays your town, don't miss them.
